About the Role

Reporting to the Project Foreman and the Project Manager, the Journeyperson Millwright duties will range from planned work order execution to troubleshooting and repairs. You will be responsible for diagnosing and ensuring client concerns are resolved in a timely manner.  


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Observe, test, and install newly built machinery;
  • Assist with the facility relocations, installations, setup and remediation work;
  • Interpret and study blueprints to determine correct installation and operation of machinery;
  • Safely perform and diagnose preventative maintenance work in an efficient method to minimize machine downtime.

Our Must Haves

  • Successfully obtained your Red Seal Millwright, Welder, or Fabricator certification;
  • Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract;
  • Committed to customer service and going the extra mile while servicing clients;
  • Ability to think on your feet and utilize strong problem-solving capabilities;
  • Experience working in forestry, mining, or natural resources industries will be considered an asset.
